If we know the day we are going to die, each day becomes
worse than hell. As we grow we forget to live. In today's world we are trapped,
trapped between school, colleges, peers, job, parents, Education system and
what not. Life is like a race and each and everyone is running without caring
for anyone else, we all just want to secure the first position in that race.
During the journey we can learn a lot and live a lot but for all of us, only
winning matter. No one knows when we are going to die, it maybe just a second
later after you've read this or maybe 50 years later, it can also be possible
that you are dying right now and regretting why you didn't live your life when
you had a chance. Steve Jobs is immortal, physically he is no more with us but
we all will remember him always. He founded 'Apple'; one of the most amazing
company with a no. of world's most fabulous gadgets. He once said," I
always waked up thinking its my last day on Earth, and that attitude increased
my altitude in life."
We think what others will think about me is I do this, if I do that etc. Dude let them think, those people don't have a life but you have one. Live it. Have fun. Fulfill all you dreams. Fall in love. Go drunk. Study Hard. Make your parents feel proud of you. Make new friends every day. Do all that you ever wanted to. I f you can't be happy at least make someone else feel happy. Share what you feel with your close ones, don't DIE inside. It's the biggest pain ever. Be whatever you are because everyone else is taken. Do whatever makes you FEEL HAPPY. Be it anything, Studying, Reading , Dancing, Athletics, Playing an Musical instrument, anything just anything but it has to be appropriate for your age :P. Want to swim in Atlantic ocean, Go for it , can't do it alone get a friend along. Do all that you can to fulfill that wish and if it's a real strong desire you'll definitely do it. People who are fed up with their life and kill themselves in other words 'suicide' are not at all strong. Killing yourself doesn't take any courage. It's just a matter of few seconds.
We think only we have problems, there is no one in this world with a perfect life but it's just that some don't show how messed up their life is. They keep their chin up, put on a beautiful smile on their face and fight the world and the truth is that these people are strong, very strong. If they can fight with their life and go forward they can do anything in life. They can touch any star in the sky. They can fly very high. When you kill yourself it's not only you who is dying. You take along many people. People who loved you to the core, you suck happiness out of them. They feel that you killed yourself because of them, because they did something; but the truth is that you kill yourself because you were a coward!! You did no have the courage to live your life..
We all take our life very easily and let it go as it is because we have a life, but people suffering from some disease which cannot be cured, these people know the real meaning of life and these fellows are the one who cannot live even when they want to.
I once knew a girl who was just fifteen. Just like anyone else she also had many problems in her life. She fought with her mom, didn't talk to her dad and hated her relatives because she thought that they didn't understand her. The only reason why she was trying hard to live and fought with her life was because of some very important people in her life. They were- her boyfriend, whom she loved more than herself and he too loved her back a lot more; her brother with whom she could share anything and everything about her life; her best friend Anjali without whom she could not imagine a life; Salsa Dance- her passion, she was better than any profession; and last but not the least her 3 cousins with whom she lived her childhood and teenage years.
Once when she was combing her hair, her nose started bleeding and she got unconscious and fell on the floor. No one was there at home except her bro and a maid. Both of them thought that she might be sleeping late as it was a holiday. Later during lunch time when her bro came to wake her up, he found her lying on the floor and blood was all around her. With help of a neighbor he took her sister to the nearest hospital and there they got to know that she had less than 3 months to live as she was suffering from breast cancer. She did something really amazing in those last few months of her life. She spent every afternoon with her boyfriend just talking about all that came to her mind. Every weekend she met her family members whom she hadn't even seen in the past ten years. Every day she chatted with random people of her school and even made some really amazing friends. She was amazed to see how happy she felt just by seeing others smile. With the help of her boyfriend and brother she conducted seminars and workshops in school for teens and told them her story. She taught us all the true meaning of life. On October 12, 2009 she died peacefully, with a smile. She was an angel, and my favorite cousin; she lived for us and we lived for her. Today she's my guardian angel and i know that she watches over my every time. Her boyfriend is now 24. He's got a fantastic job in L.A., and earns really well. Just like all of us even he has moved on in his life but every year he flies back to India to meet us all. He still remembers her and loves her. My angel changed many lives because she was a true angel.
Why don't we just start living our life because we won't get another life or even another day. We need to learn to live, we need to learn to smile, we need to be what we are, we need to learn that today won't come back again. We need to learn each day as it's our last day because remember "Everyone dies but not everyone lives."
